Something a little different today: Slaughterhouse with the opening track of their self titled album. Slaughterhouse is somewhat of an underground super-group featuring Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5’9″. These guys represent the best in anti-pop hip hop.
Sound off for some real hip hop.
Thought I had already posted this one because its so effing massive. You might recognize this track from Nero’s essential mix. It comes right after the epic ambient section that ends with Baba O’riley.
Alex Metric is a boss. By far one of the best remixes of any Beastie Boys track.
YES! Been looking for this for a while. Took some time cuz I figured it would have Beastie Boys in the title. This track is so funky, Funk Ferret is definitely worth taking a look at.
So, this is the new single from New Orleans based duo the Knux. Super dope sauce if I do say so. If you haven’t checked out ‘Remind Me In Three Days….’ then get on it.
This right here is some awesomely fresh hip hop from California based producer Edison.
Seriously, follow this guy on Vimeo (apparently he’s anti-youtube). Not only is he a brilliant producer, he’s a freakin digit wizard. And clearly a genius with the electronics too. Check this out for links to all his music. The first album’s free, because Edison knows what’s up.
Monsieur Adi is literally gold.
Get on this ISH.
Word up to Paper Diamond, he’ll be at the Spring Massive in B’more.
